Reaching it's 20th edition, Duvelblues established a tradition in the small town of Puurs. In the heart of Flanders it sets the scene for one of the best blues festivals in Belgium. Over the years this charming festival managed to build a solid status throughout the international blues scene and gathered a lot of recognition amongst the roots, rhythm and soul artists.
In 2020 I was asked to illustrate their new 2020-edition visual. Unfortunately (due to the worldwide COVID pandemic) the festival was cancelled and appeared in a resized small edition in 2021.
The illustration was made with red, white and black Posca pens on wood and afterwards edited digital to add more textures.
